Dental marketing for clinics in Turkey that treat international patients

The Goat Group builds patient-acquisition systems for dental clinics in Turkey that treat international patients: ads run separately for each source country, doctor video, treatment pages and WhatsApp replies prepared with the clinic's team in the patient's language, and tracking that follows each patient to travel and treatment. We work for the clinic, not as a broker, and take no commission per patient.

Dental marketing for clinics in Turkey that treat international patients

The Goat Group is a European dental marketing agency that builds patient-acquisition systems for dental clinics: paid ads, video production, websites, local SEO, WhatsApp conversion and ChatGPT ads, measured on booked patients, not clicks. If your clinic in Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir or another Turkish city treats patients from abroad, this page explains what we would build for you and how we would measure it.

Our role is to give your clinic its own acquisition system for patients who travel: no commission per patient, no brokering and no resale of leads. Everything here describes our method; it is not a report of results in Turkey. The wider approach is on our dental tourism marketing page.

Is this a fit for your clinic in Turkey?

A good fit:

  • You already welcome patients from abroad, or you have the chairs and the coordinators to start.
  • One or more patient coordinators can hold a conversation in each patient's language, from the first message to departure.
  • You want to own the patient relationship instead of paying agents for each arrival.

Not a fit:

  • Patients searching for treatment. We are an agency for clinics. We cannot suggest a clinic in Turkey, arrange appointments or quote prices to individuals.
  • Health tourism agents. We do not sell or resell leads.
  • Clinics without coordinators. Ads aimed at another country produce messages in that country's language; if nobody replies, the budget is wasted.

Why patients from abroad look at Turkey

Patients tend to give several reasons at once, all of them widely discussed:

  • Reach. Direct flights connect Turkey with many cities in Europe, the Middle East and beyond, so a trip for treatment is easy to picture.
  • Cost at home. Many patients find treatment abroad more affordable than in their own country, even after flights and hotel. Quotes differ a lot between clinics, and patients line them up side by side.
  • Familiarity. Turkey is a well-established destination for treatment abroad; often someone the patient knows has already been.
  • Combining the trip. Plenty of patients pair the appointments with time in a city they already know as visitors.

That familiarity cuts both ways: offers start to look alike, so a clinic that explains its doctors, visits and aftercare in plain words stands out.

Source markets clinics in Turkey typically serve

Clinics in Turkey typically see patients from Western Europe, including the United Kingdom and German-speaking countries, from the Turkish diaspora across Europe, and from the Middle East and neighbouring regions. No two clinics share the same mix.

Thinking about a new market? Our guides for clinics that want German, Austrian and Swiss patients or patients from Israel cover what those patients ask. Before adding a country, we look at your own records: where your current patients live, the treatments they accepted, the flights into your airport and the languages your coordinators speak.

The long conversation before the package decision

Patients rarely decide from an ad. Between the first message and a booked flight there is usually a long WhatsApp conversation: photos, questions about the number of visits, the hotel, transfers, what the package includes and what happens if a second trip is needed. That conversation decides the patient, so we design around it.

  1. Ads per country. Meta and Google Ads with one campaign per source country, so a British enquiry and a German enquiry never share a budget or a message.
  2. A first reply in minutes. WhatsApp automation greets the patient, asks which treatment they are considering and where they are writing from, then passes the chat to the coordinator who speaks their language.
  3. Material for the coordinator. Short doctor videos and treatment pages that the coordinator can send mid-conversation when the patient asks who will treat them or what a stay looks like.
  4. Assessment. With the patient's consent, X-rays and photos are received by your clinic through secure channels we set up. Any treatment plan sent before the visit stays provisional until the in-person examination.
  5. Visits planned around flights. Many treatments need more than one trip. We help you explain the gap between visits and the timing of each stay, so patients book flights with realistic expectations.
  6. After the return home. Your clinic writes the aftercare plan; we turn it into a page and a message sequence that names the person the patient contacts once back home.

Languages in a Turkish clinic

Enquiries reach clinics in Turkey in English, German, Arabic, Russian and other languages, depending on where the campaigns run. Our own team works in English, Romanian and Spanish, and replies in English to clinics writing in other languages. Patient-facing content is prepared together with your team in the patient's language and checked by your team before it goes live. Your coordinators keep each conversation going in that language every working day; we supply the structure, the creative and the tracking.

Measuring a decision that takes weeks

A patient who first writes in winter may settle on a package in spring and fly in summer. Browser pixels cannot hold that thread. Goat SST, our server-side tracking system, reports the steps that matter to Meta and Google: consultation booked, patient arrived for the first visit, treatment accepted. Campaigns then learn from patients who flew in, not from chats that stopped at the price question.

Each source country gets its own line in the report, so you see where conversations turn into trips. Personal data is anonymised on the server, on infrastructure inside the EU. Results also depend on clinical quality and on how your reception answers.

Rules on both sides

  • Turkish rules. Turkey has its own rules for health advertising, for health tourism and for personal data.
  • Rules where the ad is shown. A campaign in Germany or the UK may also be measured against local advertising standards, and EU data protection rules can apply to people you reach in the EU.
  • Shared responsibility. We review the known rules with you before launch; the clinic remains responsible for its advertising.
  • Package wording. Packages that bundle treatment, hotel and transfers need careful wording: no promised outcomes, no fixed timeframes the treatment may not keep and no medical advice in ads. A data processing agreement is signed with every clinic.

What we ask of a clinic in Turkey

  • Admin access to the ad accounts, the website and the WhatsApp Business number your coordinators use.
  • One named coordinator per patient language, available every working day.
  • Time with your dentists for a filming day.
  • Calendar access, so first and second visits are tracked separately.
  • A clear description of what each package includes, and of the prices you are allowed to publish.

Frequently asked questions

Have you already worked with clinics in Turkey?

What you read here is our method, not a record of Turkish results. There is no public dental tourism case study from us yet, and the outcomes in our published case studies come from other markets, so we do not borrow them for Turkey. On the strategy call we walk through how the system would fit your clinic, your coordinators and your source countries.

Is this a commission or agency model for patients?

Neither. Your clinic pays for the system we build, not for each patient who arrives, and we never act as a health tourism agent. Enquiries land in your own WhatsApp and your own calendar, so the patient list and the patient relationship remain with your clinic.

Can you write our ads in German, Arabic or Russian?

Our team works in English, Romanian and Spanish. Ads and replies in other languages are prepared together with your team in the patient's language and checked by your team before they go live. Your coordinator for that language reviews every line and carries the conversation, because a package decision rests on those chats far more than on the ad.

Can we advertise packages with hotel and transfers included?

Possibly, but the wording matters. Turkish rules and the standards of the country where the ad runs both apply, and some do not allow indicative prices. We review the known rules with you before launch; the clinic remains responsible for its advertising. If a package is shown, it should state plainly what is included and what may change after the examination.

How do you track a patient who chats for weeks before booking?

Goat SST, our server-side tracking, links the first click to the later steps: booked consultation, arrival for the first visit and accepted treatment. Those events go back to Meta and Google, so the campaigns optimise for patients who fly in. Each source country is reported separately, which shows where long chats turn into trips.
