Dental tourism marketing for clinics that treat international patients

The Goat Group is a dental marketing agency that builds patient-acquisition systems for dental tourism clinics: ads per source country, doctor video, treatment pages and WhatsApp replies prepared with the clinic's team in the patient's language, provisional remote assessment and patient-facing aftercare information. We work for clinics, not for patients, and measure success on patients who travel and start treatment, not on cost per lead.

Dental tourism marketing, measured on patients who travel

The Goat Group is a European dental marketing agency that builds patient-acquisition systems for dental clinics: paid ads, video production, websites, local SEO, WhatsApp conversion and ChatGPT ads, measured on booked patients, not clicks. For dental tourism clinics, that system reaches patients in the countries they travel from, answers them in their own language, shows the doctors who will treat them and follows each patient from the first ad to the day they travel and accept treatment. We work for the clinic. We are not a clinic finder, and we do not take a commission per patient.

Who this is for, and who it is not for

This page is for owners and managing dentists of clinics that already treat patients from abroad, or that have the team and the capacity to start:

  • Clinics in Romania, Spain and the rest of Europe that receive patients from other countries.
  • Clinics outside the EU that treat international patients and can answer them in their language.
  • Clinic groups that want one acquisition system across several source markets.

It is not for patients. If you are looking for a clinic for your own treatment, we cannot recommend one, book an appointment or send you a quote. We are a marketing agency, not a medical travel broker. Please contact a clinic directly.

It is also not a fit for clinics that want to buy lists of leads, or that have nobody to answer enquiries in the patient's language. No campaign can fix an unanswered phone.

Why dental tourism marketing is different

Local marketing and dental tourism marketing use the same tools. The problem they solve is not the same.

  • Trust at a distance. The patient decides from a screen, usually without ever having seen your clinic. Who is the dentist? What happens if something goes wrong once I am back home?
  • Longer decisions. Flights, time off work, family opinions and quotes from clinics in several countries. Weeks or months between the first click and the first visit are normal.
  • Language at every step. The ad, the treatment page, the WhatsApp reply, the assessment, the aftercare instructions. One answer in the wrong language can end the conversation.
  • Two sets of advertising rules. Your own country's medical advertising and professional rules apply to everything you publish, and the country where the ad is shown can have its own standards.
  • A wider comparison. The patient compares you with clinics in several countries, not just across town.

Clinics that compete on price alone tend to attract the least committed patients. Clinics that answer these questions openly, with real doctors and clear information, give patients a reason to choose them.

How we choose source markets with you

We do not start from a list of popular countries. We start from evidence in your clinic:

  1. Existing patients. Where your international patients already come from and which treatments they accepted.
  2. Travel. Direct flights and travel time between the source country and your city. A treatment that needs several visits has to be realistic to reach.
  3. Language capacity. Whether someone in your team can answer in that language every working day. A country without a language owner is not a market yet.
  4. Treatments and capacity. Which treatments you do well, how much chair time you can give international patients and how many visits each treatment needs.
  5. Rules. What you may say in ads aimed at that country, and what you may not.

In most cases we begin with one or two source markets, build them properly and only then add the next.

The patient journey, and what we build at each stage

Stage What the patient needs What we build
Discover To find a clinic that treats people from their country Meta and Google Ads run separately for each source country, with copy prepared with your team in the patient's language
Trust To see who will treat them Doctor video filmed with your real dentists by our in-house team
Understand Clear information on treatment, visits and stay Treatment pages prepared with your team in the patient's language and checked by your team before they go live
Ask A fast answer in their own language WhatsApp flows that reply within minutes and hand over to your team
Assess A first idea of the plan before booking flights A remote assessment process, always described as provisional
Travel and treat Practical information on visits and timing Pre-visit messages and reminders, prepared with your team in the patient's language
Aftercare To know what happens back home We turn your clinic's aftercare plan into patient-facing pages and messages in the patient's language

Some of these details matter more than they look:

  • Ads per source country. One campaign per country, with its own creative and budget, and copy checked by your team. Results are not mixed, and you can see which market brings patients who actually travel.
  • Doctor video. Your dentists explaining the treatment, the number of visits and what a stay looks like. Stock photos do not build trust across a border. Infinity Digital Dent shows how far communication with a real identity can go: the clinic passed 10,000 leads with communication built around real people, including a full documentary.
  • WhatsApp within minutes. International patients often write in the evening, from another time zone. Automated replies, written with your team in the patient's language, collect the basic information and, with consent, the images a dentist needs, then pass the conversation to a person in your team.
  • Remote assessment is provisional. A dentist can review X-rays and photos and propose a provisional plan, but the final plan is decided only after an in-person examination. We state this clearly in every page and message, so expectations match what happens in the chair.
  • Your aftercare plan, made visible. What happens after the patient goes home, who they contact and in which language. Your clinic defines the plan; we turn it into patient-facing pages and messages in the patient's language. It is one of the first questions international patients ask, and one of the last that clinics answer.

Measurement: patients who travel, not cost per lead

In dental tourism, a cheap lead that never travels is the most expensive lead you can buy. A patient may click an ad in March, talk to your team on WhatsApp for weeks and arrive in June. The browser pixel loses that connection long before the patient sits in your chair.

Goat SST, our own server-side tracking system, sends real events back to Meta and Google: consultation booked, patient travelled and attended, treatment accepted. The platforms then learn which ads bring patients who travel and start treatment, not people who only ask for a price. Data is anonymised server-side and processed on EU infrastructure.

We report per source market: enquiries, booked consultations, patients who travelled and patients who accepted treatment. Results also depend on clinical quality and on how your reception answers, which is why we track the whole journey and not only the ads.

Working languages

Our team works in English, Romanian and Spanish. Clinics can write to us in any language; if it is not one of these three, we reply in English. Patient-facing content, from ads to WhatsApp replies, is prepared together with your team in the patient's language and checked by your team, including for medical accuracy, before it goes live.

The rules we work within

  • Two countries' rules. Your own country's medical advertising and professional rules, plus the advertising standards of the country where the ad is shown. In Romania that includes the dentists' code of ethics; in Spain, regional rules on health advertising. We review the known rules with you before launch; the clinic remains responsible for its advertising.
  • GDPR for X-rays and photos. Dental images are health data. Your clinic receives them through secure channels we set up, with the patient's consent, and we sign a data processing agreement with every clinic.
  • No outcome promises. No promised clinical results, no timeframes the treatment cannot keep and no medical advice in ads. Patients who travel deserve accurate information more than anyone.

What we need from your clinic

  • Someone who answers leads in the patient's language every working day. Without this, no campaign works.
  • Capacity: chair time and a clear view of how many international patients you can treat each month.
  • Real doctors on camera, available for a filming day.
  • Honest information on visits, the prices you are allowed to communicate and aftercare.
  • Access to your ad accounts, website and WhatsApp Business.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with dental clinics outside the EU?

Yes. We work with clinics from any country that treat international patients, as long as someone at the clinic answers leads in the patient's language every working day. We are based in Bucharest, inside the EU, and our working languages are English, Romanian and Spanish; if you write in another language, we reply in English. Before launch we review the known advertising rules of your country and of each source market with you; the clinic remains responsible for its advertising.

Which source markets should a dental tourism clinic target?

There is no universal answer. It depends on evidence from your clinic: where your existing international patients come from, which countries have direct flights to your city, which languages your team can answer in every day and which treatments you have capacity for. In most cases we start with one or two markets and add more only once those bring patients who travel.

Do you find patients for us as a middleman?

No. We are not a broker or a clinic finder, and we do not take a commission per patient. We build your clinic's own acquisition system: ads per source country, doctor video, treatment pages, WhatsApp flows and tracking. Patients contact your clinic directly, and the relationship, the data and the reputation stay with you.

Can we show prices in our dental tourism ads?

It depends on the rules in both countries: your own country's medical advertising and professional rules, and the advertising standards where the ad is shown. Some clinics can show indicative prices, others cannot. We review the known rules with you before launch; the clinic remains responsible for its advertising. Where prices are allowed, accuracy matters more than a low headline figure, because international patients compare carefully.

How long until the first enquiries from abroad?

In most cases, paid ads bring the first enquiries within the first weeks after launch. SEO in a new language takes longer, usually months. Travel decisions also take time, so a patient who writes in the first month may travel much later. That is why we judge campaigns on patients who travel and accept treatment, not on early enquiry volume.

Do we need a separate website for international patients?

Not necessarily. What you need are treatment pages in each patient's language, with clear answers on visits, stay, provisional remote assessment and aftercare, plus a WhatsApp flow that replies in the same language. These can sit on your existing site. We review what you have during the free strategy call.

How do you measure dental tourism campaigns?

With Goat SST, our own server-side tracking system. It sends booked, travelled and attended, and accepted-treatment events back to Meta and Google, so the platforms optimise for patients who actually travel. We report per source market. Results also depend on clinical quality and on how your team answers, so we track the whole journey.

Which languages do you work in?

Our team works in English, Romanian and Spanish. Clinics can write to us in any language; if it is not one of these three, we reply in English. Content for patients is prepared together with your team in the patient's language and checked by your team before it goes live; a person in your clinic must be able to answer patients in that language every working day.
